Masonry 3d portfolio

I understand that when selecting the masonry option on portfolio, it is supposed to vary the size of each portfolio block. However, it doesn’t – they are all completely uniform / same size. The only thing that changes when selecting masonry is, the height of every portfolio item halves so it’s a perfect square.
