No custom fields in portfolio items

Hello, I wanted to create some custom fields in the portfolio items / articles.
In the articles I can see custom fields and create some but in the portfolio items, he custom fields are somehow hidden. I wonder, because I tought that the custom fields are by default also displayed at portfolio items?
Do you have any idea / tip for me how ti display them in portfolio items?
