Page tagline not changing

Hi,

I’ve been trying to remove the tagline for a single page. I’ve used the following CSS statement:
.page-id-10 { display: none !important;
}
This line works for all the other site page numbers except the post listing page (http://passportsanddreams.com/adventures/). Would there be any theme code preventing the removal of the page tagline?
