it is not a stupid question at all :)
Nalleto doesnt have a specific ad place. We tried the integration with this plugin: https://wordpress.org/plugins/adsense-plugin/

In its options, you can customize the ads, their look and position. Plugin is able to add ads to comment sections, blogs, pages, footer, etc.. Also it creates widget, which you can place into sidebars, those are registered in our theme.

There is plenty of this ads plugin, you will need just test them and find the one, that suits you best.
