But how to use the shortcode of any plugin with the theme. It keeps it converting back to a text inside a row instead of considering it as shortcode.

Glad you have solved the problem. Regarding the shortcodes, it should work within the Text Element as well but you could also map it using the Visual composer’s Shortcode mapper:
