This is right. The addthis code is automatically added to the Blog Posts if you set this setting for the blog.

Unfortunately we cannot do the same with pages as the page content is completely free and there is no way we could know where to add it so that it fits your design.

However, there is an option to use the “Social Share Bar” page element and to put it where it fits best.

You could also use a child theme and update the template “page.php” file to output it in every page ;)
