Boldial Page/Post Title Error – apostrophe and hyphen displayed as 9 and w

Having just updated the theme, I’m noticing some weird errors in page and portfolio item names. Instead of a apostrophe “‘” I’m getting a superscript 9. Looks fine when editing but the live website shows the incorrect character.

Same with hyphens, instead of getting “-” I get a weird character. Again, this only appears in the live site – not when editing.

I’ve switched to a different theme and the problem goes away, so I think it must be Boldial related.
