Hi there,

Maybe an stupid question but is it possible to have a button linked to an image which showes-up in a pop-up screen and not on a the same or new page?

Hi,

This is not possible by default. You would need to add additional custom JavaScript code in order to make it work. You would have to link the button to the image file and then add some JS like this:

	// Get All buttons that link to an image file
	var button_linking_to_images = jQuery("a[class*='ish-button-']").filter( function() { return /\.(jpe?g|png|gif|bmp)$/i.test(jQuery(this).attr('href')) });

	// If there are such
	if ( button_linking_to_images.length > 0 ) {

		// Turn on fancybox
		button_linking_to_images.fancybox({
			'padding' : 10
		});
		
	}
});

jQuery(document).ready(function($) {

// Get All buttons that link to an image file

var button_linking_to_images = jQuery("a[class*='ish-button-']").filter( function() { return /\.(jpe?g|png|gif|bmp)$/i.test(jQuery(this).attr('href')) });

// If there are such

if ( button_linking_to_images.length > 0 ) {

// Turn on fancybox

button_linking_to_images.fancybox({

'padding' : 10

});

Of course you can edit the code to better fit your needs ;) You can also bind it to a special css_class attribute.. The choice is yours
