The sidebar’s HTML and CSS was not initially made to have different color. It could be changed using custom CSS but there might be other parts you might need to change and this requires HTML and CSS skills.

The best way to modify is to use “Inspect Element” to get the CSS class and the add CSS styles to control it. You can use “.ish-main-sidebar” CSS class. Now just do all necessary modifications.
