I am having trouble activating (and previewing) my theme (for my site: http://www.inthelittle.com) and am currently getting the following error message:

Fatal error: require_once() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘/home/www/inthelittle.com/wp-content/themes/multicorp/wpbakery/js_composer/include/helpers/helpers_factory.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/www/inthelittle.com/wp-content/themes/multicorp/wpbakery/js_composer/js_composer.php on line 137

*** Please note that this error did seem to overwrite the theme I had installed previously and I can no longer see my website (only the above error) and I also cannot log in to the wpadmin area (I also only get the error message). I do, however, have FTP access for hopefully fixing this problem.

Seems like some of the files from the theme were not uploaded correctly. Have you uploaded the theme manually via FTP or via the WordPress admin? The problem is caused by the theme not being able to access essential files.

To remove the problem, log in via your FTP account and navigate to /wp-content/themes/ and remove the multicorp folder. Once you access the front-end, WordPress will realize the theme is missing and will switch to the default one.

Please ensure all files are uploaded correctly. Maybe uploading the theme from the WordPress Administration will prevent it from such errors.

Also check whether you have the Visual Composer plugin installed. If yes, please deactivate it as it might be generating the problems.It might be of an older version than the needed one. In any case the theme has the one you need already built in so no need to have the plugin activated separately.

I’ve removed the theme via FTP as you recommended and I can now access the admin panel again.

After extracting the main, “all files and documentation” download, upon trying to upload the theme through the wp admin (using the “multicorp.zip” found in the “Theme Zip” folder), I get the following alert message “Are you sure you want to do this? Please try again.”

Any idea what might be going on?

Just added you and the info should be coming via e-mail. Fwiw, when I deleted the multiicorp theme via FTP, it didn’t (and still will not) delete all of the files for some reason. Perhaps this is the cause of the recent error mentioned. If you need me to try anything else on my end, just let me know.

The problem why you cannot upload the theme is that you have a limit of 2MB per file

Maximum File Size Allowed : 2 MB

Go to your hosting configuration panel and set the allowed file size and also POST size to at least 10MB and also make sure to increase your memory limit to at least 96MB to avoid memory issues.

If you do not know how to do this, contact your hosting support team. Please let us know if you managed to do this and were able to successfully activate the theme from administration.
