How can i change, how the pictures are displayed in the portfolio front page.
I would manage the preview picture with the perfect size but at the moment i cant figure out how i can do that. Most of them are too big and show not what i want.

the problem is that almost all your pictures are too wide and too small, most of them are 1170×272, which is very rare format. Plus those images are in very bad quality. It would be definitely better if you upload pictures in better quality. That would help a lot ;)

Also please try to upload image which is more natural format (e.g. 16:9, 3:4).

But i cant figure out where the format 1170×272 come from. Most of the pictures i had uploaded are all in 16:9.(1920x1080px or 1400×788 and for some headers 1440×335px) That sizes also shown in the WordPress Mediacenter. Could it be that the portfolio plugin compress the files? THe original files at my desktop are also in much better quality. Thats what i don’t understand, why the quality on the site is so bad from most of the pictures.

Hope we can figure out what the Problem is.

We highly recommend to use full images (16:9) for headers too, because it’s always featured images and that’s the image which is showing in portfolio overview. Just use normal big image and it’ll be perfect ;)
