Custom CPT: Breadcumbs not working as excepted

Hi,

I don’t know why my Breadcumbs is not working as expected.

It always shows even if I choose “None” from the meta box in admin.

Also, it is empty for my CPT’s archives (it shows Home > [empty])

Hey,

The mentioned page is redirected to Content Not found. The problem could also be that the mentioned CPTs have no archive set. Why is that?

Hi,

I’m sorry… I’ve disabled the archive for this CPT for a test and forgot to renable it…

Now the page is working.

But as you will see, the label for the breadcumb is empty.

Hey Matt,

Please open the file:

\wp-content\themes\boldial\assets\framework\wp\options\custom-functions.php

And add the following code after line 585:

else if ( is_archive() && 'post' != get_post_type() && ( !function_exists('is_woocommerce') || !is_woocommerce() )  ) {

	$type = get_post_type( get_the_ID() );

	$obj = get_post_type_object( $type );
	if ( is_object( $obj ) ){
		$return .= $obj->labels->name;
	}

}

else if ( is_archive() && 'post' != get_post_type() && ( !function_exists('is_woocommerce') || !is_woocommerce() ) ) {

$type = get_post_type( get_the_ID() );

$obj = get_post_type_object( $type );

if ( is_object( $obj ) ){

$return .= $obj->labels->name;

}

it’s basically right after:

if ( is_archive() && 'post' == get_post_type() && ( !function_exists('is_woocommerce') || !is_woocommerce() )  ) {
	...
}

if ( is_archive() && 'post' == get_post_type() && ( !function_exists('is_woocommerce') || !is_woocommerce() ) ) {

...

}

Not sure if you also have the woocommerce checks in that line as they are scheduled for the next update.
