In this example, the description is too long (there are 155 character). so, how to make it shorter?

the easiest way is to edit each post, go to “Screen Options” in the right top corner, make sure “Excerpt” is checked, and then simply add your short version of the text into excerpt field located on the very bottom of the page.

This will solve the problem ;)

Please edit your post and then open “Screen Options”.
