I have been playing and having fun with the with the decorations in VC to add character to my pages, can you take a quick look at my contact page – when I added an opaque background to my top row – the arrow moved to the right and is no longer aligned correctly.

Also on this page the arrow is visible in IE and Firefox but not in Chrome? The background in the top row is dynamic:

yep you’re right. It’s a bug, we had to miss it somehow. Sorry for that ;)

Here is very quick CSS fix for it, simply copy this snippet and paste it into “Theme Options -> General Options -> Custom CSS” field:

Regarding your second question, it is caused because first row (with dark background) has parallax effect o the background and for this there has to be set “overflow: hidden”.

We suggest to remove bottom decoration (Arrow Outside) from first row and add top decoration (Arrow Inside) to the following second row (WordPress Services in Kent). This will do the trick ;)

Have a look, I’ve left it up:

This is in the row above where I have added a parallax effect – is the parallax “overflow: hidden” effecting this too – it worked ok before I changed the css?

I’ve had to remove the css from the general options panel and as it changes the dynamic of the right slopes with shadow – and I have a few of them above some of my rows on my homepage.

I’ve added it to the page specific custom css in the VC instead which works for the contact page, but you can still see the break in the slope on wordpress-services page.
