Created test pages but and they link to the correct pages (that show on the url) but there no content in it it look like a 404 Not Found page after digging in the code for several hours, I can’t get what the problem is please help with this matter thanks.

please try to switch to some standard WP theme which came bundled with WP installation and see if the issues persists.
Its hard to help here, because we can’t see it, or get to admin. Also we don’t know how the localhost is setup.
There can many aspects those can cause issues. Can you please send a screenshot, or log of the error it gave you?
