Disable opacity on portfolio items

Hi,

First of all, fantastic theme .. I love it although maybe, the documentation could have been more detailed.

What I would appreciate is your help in a small matter I am having as i am a total newbie, lol. I am trying to do the image cover of the portfolio opaque, with the picture not visible when not hovered over. I attached the pic, to show you better .

Can you please guide me how this can be done?

thank you very much, we’re glad you like our theme. And thanks for tip about documentation, we’ll consider it for the future to make it more detailed. But we’re always trying to do things as simple and useful and straightforward as possible, less is usually more ;)

Regarding your portfolio problem, could you please send us the image again? Because we cannot see it now. And maybe to describe it little bit more.

Hi, thanks for the reply, basically when the mouse is not hovered over the portfolio tile, I dont want the image slightly visible. i want the blue colour with no transparency.

Hi again,

thanks for the explanation. Please paste this short snippet into your “Theme Options -> General Options -> Custom CSS” field:

.ish-p-overlay span {
	background-color: rgba(117, 167, 192, 1) !important;
}

.ish-p-overlay span {

background-color: rgba(117, 167, 192, 1) !important;

}

The “rgba” value is the blue color, if you would like to have all the items different color feel free to use any other color.

further to this, is it possible that from the portfolio individual page, when u go press to go back to the previous page from the black bar, (highlighted with a white border on image attached)

instead of going into the category page, which would not be formatted to your liking, you go back to the actual page you came you clicked the link from?
