You can either remove it from “Settings -> General” or by removing it from the “header.php” template within the theme. it can be found under this line:

Then go for the update of the “header.php” file which can be found in the root of your theme files.

Another option would be to simply hide it with a little custom CSS code which you can enter into the “Theme Options -> General Options -> Custom CSS” field.
