Display Sidebar only inside posts

I was wondering if I can set the Blog Overview as full width and having the sidebar shown only inside my posts, but having it as default (without having to set the sidebar in every post).

Hey,

If you open “Theme Options” -> “Blog Options” you will be able to set the “Blog Sidebar” globally. This will display it on all Blog pages. Overview, Posts, Categories, Tags, Archives, etc..

You can then simply head to the page that is set as Blog page and disable it in its settings. If you have no such page, you will again have to modify the “home.php” file inside a child theme as suggested in this post:

Remove Tagline on blog overview set as homepage

This time, however, you will have to override the setting by adding the following code right after the breadcrumbs call:

// Breadcrumbs display
ishyoboy_show_breadcrumbs();

1 2	// Breadcrumbs display ishyoboy_show_breadcrumbs();

so you will have:

// Breadcrumbs display
ishyoboy_show_breadcrumbs();

// Template overrides
$ish_options['show_blog_sidebar'] = '0'; // 0, 1

// Breadcrumbs display

ishyoboy_show_breadcrumbs();

// Template overrides

$ish_options['show_blog_sidebar'] = '0'; // 0, 1
