I try to remove the translucent background image on my posts in Blog section.
The translucent effect is good but it makes the text not easily readable.

At the same time, I want to keep my featured image so they display on recent posts section.

Is there any way to do that ?

before we suggest how to remove it, have you try to set the colors in ‘Color Settings’ which are on post edit page below pagebuilder? :)
There is rich palette of predefined overlay and text colors to make your boldial based blog colorful as on our demo site. You can pick exactly the colors you want so it wont make it unreadable.

Yes, I used this color setting to have a white or blue background on my posts.

But I still have the featured image as a background and I would like to remove it.

Thanks to point out where to make this change.

well then, here it is:

Just add it into ‘Theme Options > General Options > Custom CSS’ field. And it will hide that background image for you.
