What can I do to fix this? I’ve read several things about it; that adding the fontello_embedded.css file to my site would fix it and that adding something to my .htaccess file would fix it. I tried to latter option but it didn’t work. I’m not sure where to get the fontello_embedded.css file or if that is even the solution. Thanks for your help,

Seems like it is an Apache server configuration and you were on a right track fixing it :) Please try adding the following lines to the .htaccess file in the root of your WordPress webpage.

We’ve just checked that the plugin “sinkstripe2” which is active also loads the fontello icons which I guess is the problem. Could you try disabling it and let us know if it helped?

The icons were fine once I deactivated it. Is there anything I can do about this? That plugin is pretty vital to the site. Would getting rid of the plugin’s fontello stylesheet, and taking the icons out of the form stop the plugin from loading them? I would like to continue to use the icons with this plugin, but I’m not sure how to do that. Thanks,

Is the Skinstripe2 plugin free or commercial?
The easiest way would be to make the plugin not to add “fontello.css” into the content as it seems it’s doing it inline and not using the WP Guidelines way. Or try to empty the mentioned CSS.

If it is using the icons from Fontello in an unchanged way then they should be available inside the theme as well.
