Just like a normal picture? I want to use slide effects but it looks weird that when you load the home page, the picture is not there and shows with an effect.

after the first time, if it loops, then it should have the effect like the rest of the slides.

Feel free to follow the documentation instructions on how to import the demo slider. And then see the settings of the first slider. It’s a matter of effects choice and right timinig.. You need to play a little with it to get to know it better :)
