I’m getting pretty close to happy with my site. Just a few nitpicky things:

How do I get it to show the entire height of my landing page image when it’s full-screen (1920×779 on iMac) in chrome? It seems to cut off the image of the girl at the ankles.

Then when I view it on safari on ios, it only displays the top 3/4 of the image and cuts off to white.

Here’s how I have this page set up currently:

It’s pretty tough making this look good on both desktop and mobile since it is really a landscape-oriented image. Any tips on how I might fill the iPhone screen with this image upon landing on the homepage? Ideally it’d fill the screen vertically, and include the left side of the image on mobile, leaving the rest of the image to float offscreen to the right.

first of all, you did a very nice job on your website. Really like it ;)

So, to your … issues. The background image is correctly set, but I did some change to have visible comparison of the aspect ratio. Your photo vs standard monitor ratio.

Leepho - background

As you can see the difference of ratio is quite big. You have correctly set the options, but if it would be 100%w and 100%h, then the image would be stretched and wont look good at all. I suggest to crop it to match somewhere the apprx monitor ratio. Its not pure 16:9 / 16:10, because there is browser UI, on windows start panel, etc.. So make some safepoints in Photoshop which will make bounds of the area you wish to be always seen and crop it like that. Might be for example 1980×800. Just a guess, but try it.

Regarding iOS, there is tiny bug, that has problem with viewport height. Its iOS only. We already handled this issue here: https://support.ishyoboy.com/forums/topic/huge-space-between-full-height-rows-on-ios/#post-4147

Try to put that CSS snippet into your ‘theme options > general options > custom css’ field.

Regarding those other two questions, I would like to kindly ask you to raise new ticket for each of them to keep one topic/one ticket consistency. Its easier for other users to search for it later. Meanwhile we will prepare solution for you
