for some reason the portfolio does not appear to be in full 100% but instead there is some sort of a margain on the left side

also, do the pictures in the portfolio need to be in certain dimensions or any dimension will work fine?

Seems like you’ve already fixed it! If not please provide a screenshot and specify the OS and Browser with its version that you are using as it seems completely fine on our machines.

Any size is fine ;) We usually try to keep the same aspect ratio but it is up to you. Always upload big images around 1200 – 1400 pixels in width in order to provide good source for WordPress to create all necessary sizes.
