Is there a way to remove it, as per the Boldial demo?

Welcome between the Boldial owners ;) Hope you love the theme already!

This could be easily solved by setting the row to be full-width without padding. Another solution could be to use a little Custom CSS to remove the padding.

Please provide the URL of the page where it happens so we could provide more accurate feedback. Thanks!

Cheers

It’s actually running on a local server at the moment, so you can’t see the site I’m afraid.

The row is full-width and there is nowhere to specify padding on a row by row basis (apart from custom CSS). I’ve added custom CSS but it has no effect.

How did you force the padding removal in the demo?

We did it only using the available row options. Could you please post the exact link of the page you mean so we could check? Btw. If you import the demo content you will have all the pages as per the live preview.

Cheers

The website is 95% finished, so I don’t really want to pull in the demo content at this stage. Which “row option” are you referring to? There is no option to set padding without using custom CSS – is that what you used?

We meant a link to the page in our live preview server as the slider is used on more than one page. But in each of them we have used the regular Slidable page element inside a row either Regular or Full-width etc. You can see that there is padding in each of them.

You are right that there is no such option but nothing different from the available options has been set.

We have used regular row (set as section) with background image.

Maybe the LayerSlider you mentioned generates padding. How are you entering it into the content by the way? Using the TextBlock and shortcode inside?

It is possible that the only way to remove it, will be via custom CSS but in order to help you with it we need to see the code so we can inspect what “stronger” classes are defining the styles and use “!important” to override them.

That’s removed padding from both top and bottom. Looks perfect!

I believe it’s possible to also tweak padding options via Visual Composer’s own settings but only from v3.6 upwards. I’m not sure what version Boldial is using, as it isn’t listed as a separate plugin (I assume it’s part of the assets plugin).

I’m having a minor problem with displaying the Twitter widget but I’ll open a new ticket, in case anyone else needs to search for the same issue.

This is exactly what we meant :) Thanks for sharing your solution!

The current version of Visual Composer that is used and is 100% compatible is 4.1.2 but we don’t recommend editing it via the VC settings. Rather use the theme’s options or custom css or child theme.

P.S. The VC is part of the theme.
