We’ve just updated our wordpress and Minicorp WP theme to the latest versions, but on all our pages, the [Row] short code has totally stopped working. We followed the update instructions to the T, and have tried updating our pages, but just refuses to use the short code.

Have we missed something? we have tried copying and pasting the code from the theme demo site for the rows and box groups, but even that throws each box into it’s own line.

This is very strange. Something must have gone wrong during the update. Please try to re-upload the latest version again. Are using the theme directly or a child theme?

Could you maybe provide a link to your page to check?

It happened when we updated to V1.3 a few months back… we waited for a while and upgraded to 1.7 yesterday and the same thing happened.

We installed through WordPress as per the steps.

We reverted back to 1.1 last night, and now when I go to either version 1.3 or 1.7 to test,
even the theme options panel looks broken. Theres no formatting and it warns of no java in place?

When I put it onto 1.7 today to take a screenshot for you the icons in my icon boxes were not there either.

Since no changes were done manually inside the “minicorp” folder (changing PHP, CSS OR JS files’ code), no information will be lost ;)

The problem should be caused by the name of the folder where your new theme is. It should be ‘minicorp’. We therefore recommend connecting via FTP and renaming the existing theme’s folder (v1.1) to ‘minicorp_v1.1’ (so that you have a backup just in case) and then uploading the v1.7 to folder ‘minicorp’ without making any changes to it.

The second alternative is to do it via the WordPress admin if you have a backup of v1.1 in your computer. Then simply delete the theme from WordPress admin and upload the new one on its place

Then make sure to do the steps 4 and 5 from the updates process as they are very important.

In case anything goes wrong you could always upload (or rename) v1.1 back.
