Is it possible when we set Header Expandable area to be by default open to have the right “icon” showing to hide as well? Right now if you set it to be open there is no way to hide it.

yes it is possible but it requires a couple of changes in the code, but don’t worry, we will navigate you:

1. First of all be sure to use child theme so with each one new update you will not lose your changes.

2. cope header.php file from main theme to your child theme

3. open header.php file and search for line nr. 95, you should see this:

Please change it to this:

4. in the same file header.php search for line nr. 108, you should see this:

please change it to this:

5. in the file main.js

change line nr. 1024

to this:

6. in the same file main.js around line nr. 1080 comment this piece of code:

so it will become this:

That’s all what is needed to make show button in opened expandable area too.
