I am using the default template on the page, I have the post page set to blog, I have the display taglines box unchecked and everything I can think of. Any ideas, I have tried everything I can think of a few times over?

It’s hard to say. Please make sure there is no empty character before your first shortcode in the content area. Not even a “break line” (enter).

Any chance to provide access so we could have a look what’s going on?

Once I get it hosted if I still can’t fix it then I will see about granting you some access. I did check the text box and nothing was in it, I did a little more playing around and its only when I added a section or tagline that it adds the extra section above it. Looking at the text editor and it only shows the one section that was added and I even tried to manually type everything in and it is still adding the extra section. Thanks for the help guys.

Thanks for getting back to us. In the meanwhile, please open the editor and click on the “Text” tab on the right top corner (right next to “Visual”) and make sure there is no character/empty line before the beginning of the text area and the shortcode. Also make sure there is no Html character before the shortcode.
