Hide Site Title / Logo on Homepage

Hi!

I wanted to find out if it is possible to hide the logo or site title on the homepage – but then have it visible on all other pages.

E.g. https://drive.google.com/folderview?id=0B5P-uSz1oqHWVkRRYWh5elVKWFE&usp=drive_web

Hey,

Each page gets unique class in the html’s element. You could use it to access the logo/title by a CSS selector and to hide it by setting the “display: none” to it.

Another option would be to leave it out programmatically by overriding the header.php file via child theme and then adding logic for the logo/title to be displayed on all other pages except the homepage. There is a WP function “is_home()” that could be used in the PHP code.

Woop! Thanks! Got my brain in gear.

Yeah, I opened up the custom CSS panel on the static page I was using for the homepage and added this:

.ish-ph-logo span { 
	display: none;
}

.ish-ph-logo span {

display: none;

}

This worked like a charm.
