As mentioned, you are still running Minicorp v1.0 whereas the latest version is Minicorp v1.5 containing many fixes and updates. Please update to the latest version and check if the problem persists.

Our website is now online :-).

But unfortunately we’ve got reported similar problems with IE V9 / V10 and Windows 7.

Often the slider images will not display correct in the internet explorer. For example:

This ist not always the case. It just happen often.

We are runing the newest version of your theme. So that shouldn’t be the problem. Do you have any ideas? This is a big problem for us because many of our clients work with IE.

And we also established that between the navigation and the picture is a with space in IE, see:

In all other browsers the site worke fine. Thanks your tipps to fix this two issues.

The second problem i could fix. It was the Header height option which was set 116 px instead 120 px. But for the first problem I couldn’t find a solution.

Maybe it is a problem because we just use one picture and not really a “slider” function?

We spent a lot of time tracing this bug. The problem is that we’re unable to reproduce the problem on any of our servers. :(

We would therefore need your assistance. We suspect the issue to be the imagesLoaded plugin which is bundled inside Isotope plugin. The bundled version uses v 1.1 of the plugin whereas the latest is 3.0.4. Could you please edit the file “\wp-content\themes\minicorp\assets\html\core\libs\js\main.js”? From line 563 you should find:

Could you please edit it and comment the imagesLoaded check? Like this:

Please test it with this configuration and let us know if the IE broken image problem still persists. Please note this is not a fix as ImagesLoaded plugin is needed but if the images stop to be broken we know this is the right direction to go.

I’ve checked your advice. With the comment ‘//me.imagesLoaded(function()’ it works fine in IE. You’re definitely on the right direction.

I hope it helps to fix the problem. Can I temporary let the line commented out?

PS: I’ve made similar experiences when I tested the problem. In my virtual Windows machines I can’t reproduce the problem but on my PC System I can. I think it also has something to do with the exact version/service packs and operating system.

Thank you very much for your reply! Great to hear it works. Well it seems the developers of Isotope are planning on releasing a newer version but it was the same 7 moths ago so I’m not sure if we should rely and wait for it.

We have to do some deep testing of the newest imagesLoaded version in combination with Minicorp and all plugins which use it.

Not sure how much time this will take as we have to be 100% sure it will not have any unpleasant side-effects before releasing it.

There is no problem leaving the changes for now. The problem might be if you have more than one slide.. You will see all slides one under another until the slider finishes loading all images and initializes and then everything will change to a slider and you will see only slide 1.

I guess this is a fine compromise for now.

For other users which may use the slider with more than one picture it would make sense you could implement the newest or upcoming imagesLoaded libary. I can imagine that is a lot of work for just a “dumb” browser problem. But it’s realy important that a website looks good in all major used browsers. And without your “solution” we got more than one response that the header pictures aren’t loaded in Internet Explorer.

We have updated the problematic plugins and tried to resolve this issue. We have published a new update (Minicorp v1.6) containing these changes. Hopefully one of you could find a few minutes of time to come back to us after the update and confirm the issue’s gone.

As mentioned earlier we were unable to reproduce the error on any of our testing machines, but thanks to your co-operation and feedback we were able to identify the cause and hopefully fix it so that the problem will no longer appear.
