the best and the simplest solution is to use “Display Filter” option in “Portfolio” element settings.

I changed the “Display Filter” option in “Portfolio” element settings, but it doesn’t work on my portfolio page.

value “No Filter” is default value and don’t display filter categories.
You need to change this value to other one.
E.g. select value “Fade” or “Fade & Reorganize”.

Does it work if you remove the Categories from the “Categories” field? The Portfolio filter is set to display the “children” of the categories set in the “Categories” field. So if you leave it empty the filter will work.

Another option would be to create a “Parent Category” called let’s say “Portfolio 1” and make the “Baby food” and “Injection” sub-categories or child categories of this first level. Then just set the portfolio element to display this category and everything should work.
