this is little bit complicated resolve your issue from screenshot.
The best way to resolve this issue is provide some url where we can see the result.

But you can try set row with Layer Slider as section:
“General -> Make row as section -> Yes”
And section type set as full width:
“Section Settings -> Section Type -> Full-width”

edit your page with slider and then edit first row:
eidt row

Go to tab “General” and set “Make row as section” to “Yes”.
Go to tab “Section Settings” and set “Section Type” to “Full-width”.

If you need remove this gap only for row with slider, move this slider to separate row and the other content into second row. And apply mentioned changes only for first row.
