How to set up a front page just like in the mock-up of your website

Hi, I’ve followed all your instructions and managed to get the website ready. STILL, it’s not clear how we set up a front page just like in the mock-up of your website. THe front page is what made me buy your template. I want a full landing page with a photo or a photo slider. I’m not managing to get this. I want the photo and the company name and the navigation. And that’s it. How do I do this? It should have come with the theme when I installed it, but it didn’t….

Hey,

Did you import the demo content as per the “First Steps” instructions in the documentation? If so, all pages available on the live preview should have been imported. If not it is normal that the page is not there.

To manually create the page do the following:

1. Create a New Page
2. Click the yellow button – which says “Switch to WordPress editor”
3. In the right top corner of the textarea below, click on the “TEXT” tab and paste the following code:

4. Click the yellow button – which now says “Switch to Page Builder”
5. Modify the page using the page Builder as the demo images will not be available since the demo content was not imported.
6. Save and view the page.

HI thanks. I did this, it worked, but now it’s so unclear how to customise it. I see the mock up page, but there are no buttons anywhere in the page builder for customising. If I click on ‘visual composer’ all I get to edit is ‘headline – discover minimalism’.

We see you have already managed to remove the content below the first row. The Page builder can be used to easily add, remove and edit many elements.

Please have a look inside the documentation that came in the zip-file from themeforest inside the Documentation folder. There is a nice picture explaining how the PageBuilder works.
