We will be implementing a newer version soon, but it will take some time as we need to test all the functionality and make quite a few updates to ensure full compatibility.

Usually using the latest version of Visual Composer as a separate plugin can be done without a problem. However, since version 4.6 VC has made a big change in how it works and therefore newer versions will not be compatible.

A temporary solution would be to use an older version of the Templatera plugin until we fully test the theme elements.

-are you saying that version of VC after 4.6 will not be conbatibale with the theme ? If that is the case it is really disappointing .

Could we have a ETA please?
I don’t like to complain but I am using your theme for my business website and it is a bit silly that a Plugin which you use a “one of the selling point ” of the theme it has not been updated to the latest version yet.

In the past I have been happy to hire (your company) for particular customisation of the theme , and I am happy to do it again in the future but you really need to keep your product uptodate with the WordPress ecosystem otherwise me (and other customers ) will need to use a different theme.

It is possible to use Visual Composer as a separate plugin but this is on your own risk only. We made it compatible, but since some parts needed to be amended within the one in the theme you might face issues.

Regarding the third party plugins, cannot really say. If the theme turns of an element setting the plugin is relying on then it might still not work after switching to a separate plugin.
