I’m having an issue uploading images, it as recently started. I’m on version 1.8 of the theme and all my plugins are up to date.

I’ve deactivated all the plugins and still can’t upload the images, I’ve changed the theme to a wordpress 2015 one and the images load ok, go back to boldial and can’t upload them. I can upload pdf’s ok, it is just images that are the issue.

The error message is: An error occurred in the upload. Please try again later.

Any help/advice you can provide to get this resolved would be appreciated.

Could you please check if you have JavaScript Errors on the back-end? This might be breaking the process.. Also please try to de-activate all third party plugins and check if the problem is gone. Once done activate them one by one to see which one collides with the theme.

Also ensure all files were uploaded correctly during the last theme update. Sometimes the upload process does not upload all files especially when done via FTP. So maybe try to re-upload all files.

Please let us know if you managed to identify what’s causing the problem.

Thanks for the advice, I did disable all the plugins but the problem was still there and I checked all the files, although the issue was present before the theme update. I thought updating the theme might rectify the issue.

I’ve just tried this on another machine and it is working (weird), I will try again on the machine I was having issues with and update with any errors etc.

Maybe try to clear your browser’s cache. The current machine might be giving you cached files instead of the latest ones.
