I cannot find the image that are displayed in your demo? Even when I try to manually save off your demo and put into my site (yellow homepage background), it doesn’t not fill the widths, even though the image saved is 1600px.

So two question, where are the demo images and what are best practices/sizes to putting our own bg images in?

Could you please provide a link where we could see the second problem you mentioned?
You should put the images in a big size. We use 1400px and everything works as it should. The theme then creates smaller sizes and uses them where necessary.

Thanks for the link. We see you have put the image in the slider. You have to, however, put it as a background image of the first row. It will then work as in our live preview.
