WordPress has just released its newest version WordPress v4.5. Unfortunately Visual Composer is not yet compatible with it.

We’re waiting for the update of Visual Composer which is already on the way, but Envato needs to approve it first.

Once done we will integrate it into all our themes and will release updates which also need to be approved by Envato.

This all might take from a few days to a week based on the Envato’s reactivity (sometimes it takes more the 3 days to review an update…)

Until then please either do not update to WordPress 4.5 or if you have done so, then revert back to previous WordPress version.

Visual Composer released a new update fixing the backend editing.

We’re already working on the new updates of all our themes. In case you have already upgraded your WordPress to v4.5 and your page is broken you can use this quick fix:

1. Themes with Visual Composer as stand-alone Plugin – Freelo, Wildster

Please uninstall your current version of “WPBakery Visual Composer” which should be 4.10 and install the one from the link below. If successful your plugin should be v4.11.2.

Visual Composer 4.11.2 Plugin – (Customised for IshYoBoy Themes Only)

There might also be a problem on the front-end caused by an incorrect jQuery selector. To fix it, locate the “wp-content/themes/THEME_NAME/assets/frontend/js/main.js” file and make a search in it for href*=#. You should find a line similar to this one:

jQuery('.ish-ph-mn-main_nav a[href*=#' + me_id + ']').each(function(){

It needs to be updated to have quote signs around the ID and so like this:

jQuery('.ish-ph-mn-main_nav a[href*="#' + me_id + '"]').each(function(){

2. Themes with built-in Visual Composer – Hedy, Inverto, Kreo, TinyShop, Tayp, Kopy, NO8, Multicorp, Boldial, Leepho

Please download the Zip from the link below and unzip it. You should have a “js_composer” folder. Via FTP remove the original “js_composer” folder from your current them located under “wp-content/themes/THEME_NAME/wpbakery/js_composer”. You need to DELETE this folder and only then upload the new, freshly unzipped version.

Important: FTP sometimes does not upload all files so if you face errors after the uplaod, please try it a few more times.

I updated the Tayp theme to v1.2 successfully, but I haven’t received any automatic update notification for the plugin Tayp assets yet.

Should I do it manually? If so, which one of the files do I have to upload in order to replace the v1.1 via WP?

well, the best way how to do it to delete the plugin (via WordPress or FTP) and then follow steps suggested in documentation, which is included in Tayp theme.
