After doing the latest update of Boldial the transitions for Layer Slider WP does not appear anymore. All plugins and WordPress are updated to the latest version.

When i look at the demo sliders in Layer Slider WP they also doesn’t work well.

These are my versions:

Wordpress: 4.41
Theme: Boldial 2.2
Child Theme: Boldial Child
Plugin IshYoBoy Boldial Assets: 2.2
Layer Slider WP: 5.6.2
Yoast CEO: 3.0.7

Not everything is working fine. There is another problem with only my homepage. When i activate Yoast CEO 3.0.7. i cant edit my homepage. This is what i see:

Just had a look and all seem to work as expected on our side. The Slider is displayed correctly.

We noticed there is a “doubleclick” javascript error on the mentioned page.

P.S. check it in different browsers to make sure it is not only on your current one, plus make sure to clear your browser’s cache memory.

I actually think it has something to do with Java. The slider shows correctly but the layers in the slider are not. For example there need to show op some tekst over the photo’s. Before it works fine. I tried a new setup with a new layerslider but its the same. You cant see any transistions 2d/3d in the transitionsbuilder. Not even with the transition builder at the settings of the plugin.

Have you tried to activate the Yoast SEO plugin? At that point, you cant edit the homepage anymore. Now you can because i deactivate the plugin. (-;

We see two problems here.

1. Layer Slider 5.6.2
When checking the edit window of your slider we noticed the following JS Errors:

layerslider_5.6.2_problem

Seems the developers did a small mistake in version 5.6.2 and so in the file LayerSlider/wp/scripts.php on line 107 they have one wrong “space” in the path to the file:

We made this fix and removed your version of LayerSlider with the fixed one. Now there is no error and the texts show in the edit window, but the slider is still not working. Unfortunately this must be something closely related to LayerSlider not the theme so please discuss this with the authors. Maybe recreate the slider in a new fresh slider.

1. Yoast SEO 3.0.7
We tested it with our latest version of Boldial and there is no problem at all. So I guess the problem must come from cooperation with another problem. Try deactivating all of them and check if the problem is gone. Then activate each plugin one by one to see which ones are colliding.

P.S. I guess there will be PHP Error so please open your PHP Errors log to see what errors are thrown when editing the page. This will help you identify the problem.

Finally i’ve found the problem. I thought all the plugins have been disabled so I started all over again .. In the end it turned out to be a pluging yet that caused the problem. It was: DP Events Calendar.
