We’re still providing the updates to the theme to ensure you guys have a theme 100% compatible with the latest WordPress versions and changes.

We decided to retire the theme for internal reasons. But as you can see, we keep it updated frequently so that it still works perfectly.

But for the website we’re running with your theme we have to manually check, download a zip via a forum post and then manually install it on a test environment before we can update the live website… This is a lot of steps for something that can (should!) be automated if you would just use the normal ThemeForest guidelines.

Have you permanently shut the door to ThemeForest?

I agree, but you will have the same problem with any Theme/Plugin which is removed from the ThemeForest’s library.

Actually once a theme is removed from ThemeForest you should be screwed as the authors are not required to provide any further updates and you are left with the latest version you have downloaded. Moreover, you are unable to download it anymore from ThemeForest.

We decided however to support our existing clients and provide updates whenever new WordPress version is released and the theme needs fixes/updates. We’re really sorry that you are in this situation, but this is a problem you might have with any product from TF.

If this helps you may update your code to check this XML which we use to promote new versions:
https://themes.ishyoboy.com/leepho/wp/_stuff/changelog.xml
and the download the zip from the link above. then just continue with the regular update process.

After testing.. The theme itself has no problems, but please make sure you test it yourself on a testing environment to avoid problems caused by third-party plugins or server configuration.
