Now I see! Since the layout of each post in Multicorp is free (not like in other themes) you can put the featured image anywhere you want by using the “Post Media” element. In this way you can have it as full-width, in a column on the left, right, etc..

To output the image without using the content element then you will have to modify the file:
wp-content/themes/multicorp/single-post.php

And output it manually where needed.
