When I did a speed test for the website I got a long load time for the following objects on standard site load (non-admin):

wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=ishyoboy_get_tweets&username=ishyoboydotcom&count=3
wp-admin/admin-ajax.php

Load time was almost 3 seconds, is there a way to disable this or prevent this from loading?

The wp-admin/admin-ajax.php is the gate for all WordPress ajax calls weather the come from the theme, plugin or WordPress itself.

The call:
wp-admin/admin-ajax.php?action=ishyoboy_get_tweets&username=ishyoboydotcom&count=3 is called by the Twitter widget however the results are cached so it is not called on every page load. To avoid the call you’ll have to remove the twitter widget from any of the pages.

You have in the expandable area. But it seems not to be configured correctly as it loads no posts.
