I am wondering what the correct dimensions are for the image on the top of the home page.

Whatever size I put up it seems to stretch it in ways I thought impossible.

I have tried the same size as the container 1725×647 and many sizes inbetween, but can’t seem to make it line up.

new week’s here, right? We love Mondays, everything just start as “from scratch” ;)

regarding image dimensions there is no specific size for that. It’s because it depends on the screen used. It will have different size on big screen, laptop, tablet, phone.

However image you put it will stretch to cover whole part of a section / row.

The best is to use as big as possible (for the best quality), but on the other hand to keep it relatively small regarding KB size. It’s really not good to have 1MB or bigger images on your site.

For our live preview we always use dimension 1400x933px as JPG (60% compression). We think it’s the best for the quality and also for small file size.

For a fresh start I think I need another Millennium already, however, I’ll take a monday…

I will try your dimensions, the size I have put works on mobile and laptop, but gets lost on the desktop…

But the image has all the detail at the bottom, the top is open space to add titles and stuff.

I’ll keep playing see what works,
