Take the file:
ishyoboy-no8-assets\ishyoboy-shortcodes\assets\backend\vc_extend\shortcodes_templates\ish_recent_posts.php

Based on the instructions in this topic:

Override shortcode template in a child theme

Copy the file to:
no8-cild/ish-plugins/ishyoboy-shortcodes/assets/backend/vc_extend/shortcodes_templates/ish_recent_posts.php

This will tell the theme to open the file from the child-theme instead of the parent one. Now make all the changes that are necessary inside this file.
