My hosting provider does not support specific software for hiding WordPress data and avoiding theme intrusions. When i tried to change the theme directory and the themes main CSS file the theme would not load. Can you please help mask theme data?

Since this is a child theme you can change everything but just make sure to leave the “Template: no8” there as this is necessary for a child theme to know which template it is a child-theme for.

There should be no problem renaming the theme. Please try it again and make sure to activate the theme again once you change the directory name and the comments in style.css as it a completely new theme, make sure to re-save Theme Options and the regular theme install steps.

Also if using a child theme make sure the “Template” value is correct.
