I saw your post HERE on how to add the Expandable Area to the Social Icon bar.

I’d also like to add it to the Legals Footer area. Is there an easy way to do that?

When I tried to copy/paste that same code into the “Theme Options > Footer Options > Footer legals area” text field, it did not work.

Please open the “footer.php” file located in the root of the theme and update the line 30 from:

<?php echo $ish_options['footer_legals_area']; ?>

to:

<?php echo do_shortcode( $ish_options['footer_legals_area'] ); ?>

This change will be part of the next update so there is no need to do it via child theme. Change the theme files directly. This will enable the execution of shortcodes in the footer area.
