I wanted to make a background color shine through –
I went to Row Settings (in the Visual Composer) and down to Opacity.
That’s easy.

However, when I go to Theme Options and add a new color to the theme colors;
for example black, then go back to the image in Row Settings and select black,
nothing happens. In fact, it now mixes with white.

Is there something I am missing?
The opacity works with every background color, except the one I just added.

By adding “black” do you mean the hexcode with the hash and 6 characters – “#000000”?
Could you please provide the url of the page where the problem occurs?

Also are you using a caching plugin? Have you cleared the cache before checking?

The only thing that happened is that we transferred the website from a subdomain (newsite.mindmedley.com) to the main site. Maybe that was the cause?

And have you replaced all the occurrences in the database of the old url with the new url? it might be still trying to load some parts from the old URL.
