Palatino Font Family

Font Family (Palatino) is not reflecting on the website while I have update from backend -> theme optoin -> Font Options and I have update all font family option to Palatino .like
Body Font 1 ,Body Font 2 ,Header Font ,H1,H2,H3 etc …..

Please resolve asap..

Hi,

The Website Url is : https://iciny.com/

On Home page, under The SERVICES Section ,WORK IN PROGRESS section and other sections, the font family is Arial, but we have selected “Palatino” in Admin. This issue is only occurring in case of “Palatino”.

Please let me know the solution.

Hey,

You are right. The “Palatino” font is only for MACs. On Windows machines the font family is “Palatino Lynotype”.

STEP 1

To fix this, please open the file:
wp-content/themes/boldial/functions.php

And around line 1025 you should find:

/* *********************************************************************************************************************
 * Load font setting
 */
if ( ! function_exists( 'ishyoboy_load_font_settings' ) ) {
	function ishyoboy_load_font_settings($position, $data){
		...
	}
}

/* *********************************************************************************************************************

* Load font setting

if ( ! function_exists( 'ishyoboy_load_font_settings' ) ) {

function ishyoboy_load_font_settings($position, $data){

...

}

And inside this function add some new code. Basically change the lines:

// SET FONT NAME
if ( isset( $data[$position . '_' . $ish_fonts[$position]['type']]) ){
	$ish_fonts[$position]['name'] = $data[$position . '_' . $ish_fonts[$position]['type']];
}

// SET FONT NAME

if ( isset( $data[$position . '_' . $ish_fonts[$position]['type']]) ){

$ish_fonts[$position]['name'] = $data[$position . '_' . $ish_fonts[$position]['type']];

}

To:

// SET FONT NAME
if ( isset( $data[$position . '_' . $ish_fonts[$position]['type']]) ){
	$ish_fonts[$position]['name'] = $data[$position . '_' . $ish_fonts[$position]['type']];
}

// SET FONT CSS OUTPUT STRING
$ish_fonts[$position]['css_string'] = $ish_fonts[$position]['name'];
if ( 'palatino' == $ish_fonts[$position]['name'] ){
	$ish_fonts[$position]['css_string'] = "Palatino Linotype', 'Book Antiqua', 'Palatino";

STEP 2

Now open the file:
wp-content/themes/boldial/assets/framework/wp/dynamic_css/inc/dynamic_fonts.php

And change all occurrences of ['name'] to ['css_string']. E.g.:

.ish-gmap_box,
.ish-ph-main_nav .sub-menu a {
	font-family:    '<?php echo $ish_fonts['body_font']['name']; ?>', sans-serif !important;

STEP 3
Go to “Theme Options” and re-save all changes.

This should fix it.
