However the dynamic effect is not working, could you give me a possible reason for this issue?

First of all could you please re-download the Minicorp theme from TF and remove your current version and replace it with the newly downloaded one.

Then please clear your browser’s cache memory and refresh the page. Please let us know if still not working.

The reason might be that you have uploaded Minicorp v1.8 before the (minor) update with the parallax added. Current version is still v1.8 so you did not get update notification.
