This is very strange. Under “Settings -> Permalink” the “Post Name” option should be checked. Is this the one causing the problem?

We’ve just had a look around and unfortunately the problem seems to be related to the server, WordPress and the rewrite rules.

Not sure what your hosting provider is, but you should get in contact with their support team as the problem is not related to Boldial. It appears on the default WordPress configuration with the default WordPress Theme.

They should be able to quickly identify where the problem resides and fix it. If not you should consider switching to a hosting provider, which has experience with WordPress configuration.

Thank you for posting the solution! We though it would be something similar. Please note that as a user you shouldn’t even know about WordPress’s .htaccess file so this is definitely something the server guys have not set correctly and now they have to use a “Bruteforce fix”.

The .htaccess is generated dynamically and on WordPress ready hostings you don’t even know about it and everything works perfectly.

Btw. could you please let us know which hosting provider you are using so we know for future support requests?

Anyway, we hope this was the last problem you faced and from now on it’s going to be a 5 star experience ;)
