We’re experiencing the same. We think it’s caused by the sharing plugin which shows on mobile devices. Please try to deactivate it and see if this is the cause. Also consider deactivating all plugins and activating them one by one to see which one causes the problem.

It must be caused by a plugin as the theme by default zooms perfectly on all devices.

Unfortunately we cannot recommend one as we haven’t used a great one. The theme itself has a built in sharing functionality which uses the addThis service:
