Portfolio '3D Flip' Problem in Safari

Hi Guys,

Just so you know, i’m using the latest version of safari on the developer preview of OS X Yosemite and i’ve noticed that when the portfolio item flips over, the overlay colour and text only appear for a split second then disappear to leave only the flipped image, looking rather odd with it’s back to front text.

I’m not sure if it’s a problem with the theme or safari but just thought i’d give you the heads up.

Thank you very much for the link. Could you also please let us know what is your exact Safari version? As far as we know the Yosemite is not released yet so the problems might as well be caused by a pre-release version.

Does the problem also appear on earlier OSX with latest Safari?

Hello, after deep digging we found little hack what could fix your problem.

Please paste this short snippet into your “Theme Options -> General Options -> Custom CSS” field:

.ish-sc_portfolio[class*="ish-p-flip"] a .ish-p-img {
	-webkit-transform: translateZ(0);
	-ms-transform: translateZ(0);
	transform: translateZ(0);
}

.ish-sc_portfolio[class*="ish-p-flip"] a .ish-p-img {

-webkit-transform: translateZ(0);

-ms-transform: translateZ(0);

transform: translateZ(0);

}

This should fix problem with blinking portfolio items.

Please let us know if it works and then we will add it into next official Boldial WP update.

Hi,

Safari is Version 8.0 (10538.43.40)

I don’t recall it happening in the usual (mavericks) version but i’m not really sure.

That CSS code has worked like a charm and it seems to be back to normal now.
